Tripod-Fix device for the treatment of painful osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.

This study is to investigate the clinical outcomes of Tripod-Fix, a novel vertebral augmentation implant, in treating osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs). The clinical results demonstrated that Tripod-Fix effectively alleviated pain, improved patient mobility, restored anterior vertebral height, and reduced the risk of cement leakage during 12-month follow up. Importantly, there were no device-related adverse events. In summary, Tripod-Fix exhibits safety and efficacy comparable to the third-generation devices currently utilized for treating OVCFs.
